Willy Paul and Bahati have been called the gospel industry’s bickering younger siblings because
of their numerous squabbles. Hardly much time goes by before one takes a jab at
the other, and often these disagreements make it to the headlines of entertainment
websites. It seems that there may finally calm after the storm, if the Sitolia
star’s recent Facebookpost is
anything to go by.
On Tuesday, Willy Paul ‘big-upped’ his gospel brother’s new track, urging fans to
listen to the Bahati’s Itakuwa
Sawa. He went further to call on fans to request the song both on TV and radio.
“Video alert, its finally out!
I know you’ve watched
my brothers latest video… But just in
case you haven’t watched
it, kindly check it out on YouTube and request it both on radio and TV…Baraka.. One nation under God,” posted
the Kitanzi singer.
Could this be a white flag? Maybe so. Recently, Gospel
singer Willy Paul had blasted his ‘brother
in Christ’ Bahati in a lengthy social media
post saying that the Barua star had refused to bury the hatchet with him,
despite his attempts to reconcile their differences. Willy Paul alleged that
Bahati thrives on tarnishing the image of fellow gospel artistes and that his
mud-slinging gimmicks were gradually surfacing. Maybe his most recent post
could be an indicator that the constant fighting has come to an end.
